hezký základ pro renovaci

Hi guys. My name is Marian and I am passionate about oldtimers. I'm trying to start a restoration project and I'm loking for an ARO M461.
My location is in Romania and I wondering if it is feasble to buy a car from Czech Republic. I kindly ask someone here to help me buy this car advertized on sbazar. I allready left a message to the seller, but mostlikle he won't replay to my message. Thanks in advance for any kind of help and in particulary for leting me join this group.

Hi guys. I am in contact with the seller. Hopefully we will come to an end.

Good news! We hope you have an success. But the transport to Romania isn´t easy.

Indeed, not easy and expensive. But still feasable. I am more concerned about the documents than the transport because I'm not sure what should I ask for. A little Google ressearch shows that the document in the pictures is old type of technical certificate (technický průkaz). Is this still valid, I mean a car with this document can still be driven if technical is ok?

I think, you are hero, if you want to go to Romania with this car. The cooling system doesn´t work, light bulb is KO and tires are also bad. And if the car weren´t driven 2 or 3 years the brakes are also KO. Well , he has the technical certificate , but if it is valid ? To get czech licence plate isn´t so easy.

☺☺☺ That's a good one! I did not have in mind to drive the car to Romania. What I wanted to ask is if the document in the picture is valid and the car can be registered in Romania based on that.

Who knows ? You may ask the owner to make copy of the certificate .Then show the certificate to your authority in Romania and you will see.

Yes, this is the way I'll do it.

Well, maybe you have to do the oficial translation.

Authorized translation is required, no doubt. But I am still confused about registration documents in Czech. I saw the TP (assume that comes from Technicky Popis or Technicky Prukaz), but also saw Osvedceni o Registraci Vozidla. My understanding is that are the same thing, but from diferent period. In some advertisments I found the words "bez TP" translated by Google as "without TP". This means that the TP document is not existing at all (canceled), or is outdated? A car without licence plates does not have a TP document? I will be extremely grateful if someone can explane how the things are in Czech related to car registration or send a link to relevant source.

TP or OTP is the same-technický průkaz, newly it is registration certificate - osvědčení oo registraci vozidla and it has two parts. Part I. is small and part II. is the bigone. Part II. is important. But last year was bad change and if you had your plates in deposit and the owner didnt react -where the car is-his registration was automaticaly deleted. So the owner has TP, but maybe is his registration deleted. And it can´t be restored. :-(. If I can advice you, kontakt our highest authority about ARO. http://www.manyjak.cz/kontakt/ Maybe he can help you.
